A blizzard just blew across the slope and we're all busy digging out, getting ready for the winds to pick up again over the next few days. The winds have been relentless so far this month.
When you skim through the openings below, you’ll notice I included a few mining jobs. There’s a lot of similarity between working a remote slope job and working at a remote mine.
At the mines, employees work a rotational schedule, fly in and out of ANC & are housed in camps. Just like slopers. It’s another good industry to keep an eye on as there’s overlap between jobs & qualifications.
