Holy Cow! Check out all of the North Slope jobs being advertised... October 08, 2009 |
| Hi, Wow! I haven't seen this many advertised openings on the slope in quite a while. ASRC and CH2M HILL both have an unusually large number of jobs listed on their sites. Both have also recently reduced their slope workforce - maybe they did a little too much housecleaning? Throughout the year, BP has been in talks with their contractor workforce about reducing costs. An article in the local paper reported that BP intends to consolidate their contracts and work with a smaller number of firms. We've seen a trickle effect from this with a number of BP contractors cutting jobs here & there, and I suspect this is the reason for the reduction in workforce at ASRC and CH2M HILL. It's not unusual for firms to use this type of situation to "clean house" and bring in some fresh talent. So, take advantage of this opportunity and check out the listings below. There's something for everyone! Remember, to apply for a position you'll need to submit your application/resume directly with the company advertising the opening. You cannot apply for a job through my website.
If asked where you heard about a job opening, please mention my website. Thanks!
Links for each employer can be found on the Job Resources page of
www.AlaskaPipelineJobInfo.com Once on a company's website look for a "jobs” or "career" link. When you find the position you're interested in, apply directly online with that company. ACUREN
