It's official. Winter is here. Snow is flying, lakes are freezing and the icepack is moving in. All this is good news for job seekers…winter is the busy season on the slope.
After the tundra freezes and the state opens it up for winter travel, workers then have access to the field to perform maintenance and exploration activities. Ice roads will need to be built. Security and Medics will be needed for remote outposts. Rigs will need to be staffed. Additional materials will need to be shipped and delivered.
Keep your eyes open and visit the various company websites often to see what's open. Read their news releases to see what work is planned for the winter. Use this time to polish your resume and work on your answers to interview questions.
