Winter is a busy work season on the slope. Once the ground is frozen and covered with snow, companies are allowed to build ice roads & use special low-impact vehicles to access remote areas that are off-limits during the summer months. January is when much of the winter work begins and companies are now starting to mobilize/train their workforce.

Frontier Drilling & ICE Services are both new resources listed below. If you have offshore rig experience you’ll want to send an application to Frontier. Their M/V Frontier Discoverer rig has the contract with Shell Oil to conduct exploratory drilling in the Beaufort Sea, and they are now accepting applications for many, many positions.

Other employers have jobs in maintenance, welding, equipment operation, mechanical upkeep, loader operators, etc.

Kuukpik Arctic Services is looking to hire cooks, bakers and housekeepers not only on the slope but also for their camps in the lower 48.

Are you an asbestos and lead based paint abatement worker? Watch for an email this weekend especially for you.

Remember, to apply for a position you’ll need to submit your application/resume directly with the company advertising the opening. You cannot apply for a job through my website.

If asked where you heard about a job opening, please mention my website. Thanks!

Links for each employer can be found on the Job Resources page of www.AlaskaPipelineJobInfo.com Once on a company’s website look for a “jobs” or “career” link. When you find the position you're interested in, apply directly online with that company.
